Along the Trans-Siberian Railway. The Czechoslovak Legion In Russia as Literary Inspiration

The exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of the Czechoslovak Legion´s campaign in Russia and the return of the last troops to the newly established Czechoslovakia. It features literary works (professional books, belles-lettres, memoires, graphic art, as well as periodicals), which reflect the phenomenon of the Czechoslovak Legion as well as three-dimensional exhibits and period photographs. The display also commemorates main authors, some of them remembered and published to this day, most of them, unfortunately, forgotten.
Accompanying panels inform about history of the campaign of Czechs and Slovaks in Russia between  1914 and 1918 and during the following period.
The exhibition has been organized by the Slavonic Library and the Czechoslovak Legionnaire Community.
