Zuzana Kadlecová: Hebrew variations
9 November 2012 – 19 January 2013, Exhibition corridor, groundfloor, Monday to Saturday: 9 am – 7 pm
The display of paintings by Zuzana Kadlecová, a painter who was inspired by Hebrew stories and Jewish script, is complemented by artistic copies of Hebrew manuscripts from the historical collections of the National Library of the CR. Image and text meet each other in the common space to tell together a story. One of the immediate stimuli of the author´s interest in Jewish issue was the case of the Saraval Collection, monitored by media, which was one of many that were marked by the terrible consequences of the World War II.
