The exhibition is one of the series of events commemorating the publication of the first translation of the Bible into Church Slavonic. František Skorina, a doctor and translator born in Polock in today´s Belarus, published twenty three Books of the Old Testament under the title The Russian Bible in Prague between 1517 and 1519. Several East Slavic nations, especially that of Belarus, derive the beginnings of their literature from the publication of The Russian Bible.

The exhibition presenting a survey of extensive photographic work of Alfred Šupík. Mostly black-and-white pictures show beauties of nature from different parts of the world, where he lived during his business or private trips. They relativize our ideas of homeland. The precisely processed images are full of peace and harmony, they capture the magic of the moment.
