Accesibility info

The web pages of the National Library of the CR (NL) are developed to meet the conditions of the Decree No. 64/2008 Coll., on the form of publishing information related to public administration through web pages for persons with disabilities (Decree on accessibility). The NL web pages are created with regard to their barrier-free accessibility to meet all important accessibility principles. HTML and CSS are used for the presentation of all information on this server.

Note: If your device does not support CSS used, or if the graphic appearance of the web pages designed by us does not suit you, kindly use the link „Text version“. Standard tools offered by your browser can be used to switch off styles or change font size. 

The NL website design has been tested and is fully functional in the following browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8+, Mozilla Firefox 12+, Apple Safari 6+, Opera 12+, Google Chrome 22+. In all probability, the website will also be completely functional in other WebKit- and Gecko-based  browsers of 2012 and later versions.

The web pages have alternative interface „Text version“, which contains all important elements of content and information and which is compatible with lower versions of browsers Internet Explorer 6.0 +, Mozilla and Firefox: 1.0 +, Opera 8 +, Apple Safari 2.0 + and Google Chrome 0.2 +.

The statement above applies only to information presented on the server of the National Library of the CR and need not necessarily apply to other servers in the nkp.cz domain.
