Jewels of Baroque architecture – the
Jesuit Library Hall, Mirror Chapel and Astronomical Tower – are at
present closed to the public due to revitalisation works done in the
Klementinum.

The exhibition is organised by the
National Library of the CR together with the Archive of Visual Art
Civic Association. It is focused on the problems of the “ownership”
of art works, possibilities of sharing the works and information in
the computer world – transformation of the concepts of authorship
and originality, dissemination of sources via network, direct
accesibility of digitised sources and archives, increase of
collective creation, author´s free decision on using the work and on
the ways of its publishing and dissemination. The
exhibition is held on the occasion of making the
abART information system
accessible under the Creative Commons Licence (BY-NC-SA).

An
exhibition, organised by the Society of Writers, features different
editions of May, a famous poem by Czech romantic writer K. H. Mácha.
Displayed are works from the manuscript and first edition to the
latest ones, including various language versions. It is interesting
to compare different rendering of the poem in illustrations by
eminent Czech artists, like M. Aleš, K. Svolinský, Toyen, J.
Konopek, A. Strnadel, L. Jiřincová, C. Bouda, F. Komárek, J. Šerých,
J. Zrzavý, V. Sivko, J. Velčovský, J. Souček, K. Štech, V. Oliva etc.
The exhibits are maily from the collections of the National Library
of the CR.
